When John Dreams

Do we bring creativity in our dreams, or do what we dream create creativity? On Webook I seasonally add my dreams that inspire me for future writing.

Today I woke up with a slight neck pain and a bad nightmare. I grabbed my black notepad and quickly scribbles my senses onto the sheet of paper:

"I'm running in the night. My eyes are focused on the midnight sky as clouds pass the moon. There is high grasses and my head bobs right above the height of them. Fear and Adrenaline creep down my back as I hear the sounds of three male figures. They're ghastly in appearance.

The view changes to third person as these black shadows glide th
rough the grass behind me. They're long arms reach out running on four legs. Black swirly tails fly in back of these beings as they roar with only two eyes on the front of their head. Two tusks at each end of their mouth with them an even deadly appearance.

As the view changes to first person, I look upward and see the edge of a dense blue forest. black leaves fall from the forest edge as I run to hide within them . I am caught by a small but
sturdy hand within an opening within the ground. I slip in falling on my back and hear the beings run past the opening.

I look around and seek the being that saved me and I feel a cold hand on my cheek. Slowly turning around, I look at an old man, hidden in rags and adorned in purple leaves.

Slowly calling me by my name, he sais he is me. He continues ni a rugged accent that I will soon be him if I don't escape. His face has many scars and on his right hand is crippled.

I hear the cries of the beings outside and look fearfully at my older self. He throws me into the deeper parts of the cave and tells me to run. He looks yearningly back at me with a pang of hope and fear. He turns around and runs in the opposite direction towards the monstrous beings. I hear him yell as he runs with a staff in hand. I hear pain and death flash across the cave as the blast of silence wakes me up.

I wake up in reality sweating and ready to confront my fears. My heart beat fast while I realized what had happened in another realm within time."

Thinking to myself I asked the question. What if this did happen? What if I had really been there? Could it be that our dreams access and tap into other worlds unlike ours? I'm sure someone would know. After asking these deep thoughts I decided to continue sleeping; top lazy to use my grey matter up above.

Hot Cold or Weekly?

Some like it cold, Some like it hot, but I like it Weekly. I've come to the decision that I think this blog should be weekly. Although its not as awarding as a daily blog, my day holds me by the balls in telling me what and what I cannot do.

Ive noticed that consistency is the most important factor when blog writing. Ether it be daily or bi-weekly. My friend Stephanie Conley has a successful blog running called "Life at AVC". Her writing has inspired me to begin my own. Although it wont be on a specific a subject as the college, I hope the daily experience in my personal and academic life will keep the big pink squishy thing running.. (my brain)

Another thing I've been wondering about is just how long a blog should be? At first I was thinking that it has to be four pages long. Who would want to read that much though? I went on Stephanie's blog and found that the amount of text is never really consistent. I see that as a good thing. It shows that with the day, your experiences and ideas presented are what really matter in creating your posts.

For my subject area, Ive been wondering about how flexible or broad the subject should be one. I stated "the Facebook Blog of a Facebook Junkie" because I think It would give me the freedom to run any event that so happens to creep into my life. In a sense, I want this to be my personal journal.

I think this covers my "Official Introductions" I feel good in ending this to this qoute:

“What we call the beginning is often the end. And to make an end is to make a beginning. The end is where we start from.”

Hello to you all

This is my first post through this website (Blogger). I'm rushing this post because I'm going to class, I'm going to be late! I wanted to start this blog with a bang, but my rushed life has drowned those plans. I plan to make this my shortest post. Got to go!
